My friend Angela invited me to the movies yesterday. The last time I went to the movies with "the girls" was more than 5 years ago!
We went to see "Sex and The City" with Sarah Jessica Parker. I did not watch the show on a regular basis and did not even think to read the rating or critic reviews before hand. But I thought the movie was great!
I wont give the movie away, but the story line was perfect. It was all there: comedy, drama, romance.
The movie opens up with some brief history regarding the 4 main characters. So, if you did not follow the TV show, it should not stop you from seeing the movie. (that is, if you are ok with the rating).
Warning: this movie should be seen with your girlfriends or maybe your man. (although, I only saw 2 gentlemen in the entire theater). Rating: R for stong sexual content, graphic nudity, and language.
