Chicken Wire Inspiration Boards
I originally saw the idea on Sue's blog, Vintage Rescue Squad,
several months ago... I think she refers to it as an "idea board "
that she uses in her booth.

Materials:
Large (wooden) frame
chicken wire
Heavy duty staple gun
wire cutter
hammer (optional)
gloves (optional)
I simply dressed the vintage frame by stapling
chicken wire to the back of it.

* In my case, I used 3 strips of chicken wire to cover the entire frame.
I made sure to overlap the wire so that the
finished product appeared to be one large piece.
After stapling the wire in place, I trimmed it on the back side and
gently tapped the staples into the wood to ensure they were in place.
Be sure to staple the wire in the thickest part of the frame so
that the staples are not visible on the front side.
Before hanging, I attached hooks to the back of my frame.
Once all of that was complete...
I started my 2nd project: a "sweet finds" banner
I grabbed a couple of things from my stash.
such as...
vintage music sheets, ledger paper & pages from a
vintage school speller & sewing book.
The ribbon, rick rack, button, and tape measure are
all vintage as well.
(the finished product).
It looks a little bare at the moment. But I'm hoping to soon fill it
with all sorts of wonderful things that inspire me!
